Dynamic leader of his self-titled band... He made the drums the leading instrument in the band. And of course on guitar was John McLaughlin just prior to the Mahavishnu glory days, Larry Young aka Khalid Yasim on organ and Jack Bruce (on the second album, at any rate) on bass and vocals. Hot!
